The equation writer and copy buttons run entirely in your browser — the text you type or copy is never sent to us or stored anywhere. This site saves one preference — light or dark mode — in your browser's local storage so it's remembered on your next visit. It stays on your device and is never transmitted anywhere. Copy buttons use your browser's Clipboard API only when you click them, to copy a symbol or expression to your device's clipboard; the site does not read your clipboard or monitor what you paste elsewhere.

3. Cookies

The site itself does not set tracking cookies. If analytics or advertising services are enabled (see below), those third parties may set their own cookies or similar technologies in your browser, subject to their own policies.

4. Analytics

We may use a privacy-conscious analytics service, such as Google Analytics, to understand aggregate usage — which pages are visited, approximate location by country/region, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived at the site.
